This Installation was done over Thanksgiving break at the Shaw Center for the arts. It was in collaboration with about 40 children participating in the Arts Council's Spring Blast. We created two 4x8ft x 5ft tall forts. One was the day sky which was filled with origami and drawn birds, a ribbon rainbow, crepe paper, and cloud like fabrics stitched throughout. In the night sky each child had painted their own moon/planet and we hung lights and fabric that acted as our milky way.
